BCM-IM
The BCM series of Bomb Calorimeter provides an accurate, simple, and cost-effective method for determining the heat of combustion, calorific value, and sulphur content of organic materials. It is suitable for testing solids, food products, animal feed, bagasse, husk, and liquid fuels such as petrol and diesel.
In operation, the sample is ignited inside a high-pressure oxygen-charged vessel. The heat generated during combustion is transferred to the surrounding water, causing a measurable rise in temperature. This temperature change is recorded with high precision and used to calculate the calorific value and heat of combustion.
Our latest innovation features an Integrated Firing Unit cum Controller, where the firing unit, high-current transformer, temperature indicator, timer, and stirrer speed control circuit are all housed within a compact cabinet. This integrated design eliminates the need for additional interfacing connections between components.
The front panel is equipped with user-friendly controls and a clear display for easy operation, while the back panel contains all necessary connectors and switches.
