APA-D (Dual Carousel)
A Thermogravimetric Analyzer (TGA) operates on the principle of thermogravimetry, enabling accurate determination of air-dry moisture, ash content, volatile matter, fixed carbon, loss on ignition (LOI), and optionally calorific value in materials such as coal, coke (RPC), biomass, and other organic, inorganic, and synthetic samples.
The system is equipped with multiple furnaces, each integrated with a high-precision electronic balance. These balances are carefully isolated to prevent interference from environmental conditions and internal instrument components, ensuring reliable and repeatable measurements.
By applying the thermogravimetric principle, the instrument can automatically and continuously analyze up to 19 samples in a single run, significantly improving throughput and operational efficiency.
