AR Series of Digital Handheld Refractometers offer complete range of measurement of both Brix and Refractive Index with high accuracy and ease of use. This instrument can widely be used in petroleum, chemical, pharmaceutical, sugar refining and food industries, as well as in related colleges, universities and scientific research institutions for measuring the refractive index nD of transparent, sub-transparent liquid. This instrument can also be used to measure the Brix (BX) of the sugar solution, and correct the affect of temperature on the Brix automatically. Key Features

  • The instrument is designed with the latest Oxygen Bomb, Auto Oxygen Charging - Discharging facility, Auto Lifting system and choice of display as per model selected. The operator' job is limited to putting the sample-loaded Oxygen Bomb on the hook. The instrument is programmed to take over the operation thereafter. It will automatically descend to the set position and fill Oxygen. After the experiment is over, the Bomb will automatically rise and let out the exhaust gases.
  • The Instruments is fitted with special multi sensors where the temperature of inner Bucket, outer Bucket, ambient temperature, reservoir tank temperature are monitored and the experiment controlled accordingly.
  • The new technology ensures that experiments can be performed in conditions where the room temperature may not be constant always. This ensures greater accuracy and repeatability for the experiments.
  • Removable Bucket design is also available as an option.
  • The Combustion Bomb is thick walled, halogen, corrosion and acids resistant.
  • The instrument can be configured with either built in LCD Display(Touch Screen Optional), Computer or both. This provides the user with the display of their choice of other displays and interfacing ports are also available.
  • All the processes in the experiment are Automatic. There is no need to manually fill Oxygen, Relief Air, Measure Water, Adjust Water Temperature etc. thereby reducing operator workload and the errors associated with the same.
  • Optional user selective operating modes allows flexibility to perform upto 6-8 experiment per hour.
  • Correction for Acid, or Nitrogen, Fuse-wire, Sulphur, Moisture, Spiking, Ash and Hydrogen etc are available in the software.
  • Software customization allows user selectable analysis mode of : Isothermal, High Precision Mode Predictive Mode, Regnault-Pfaundler and several other modes
  • A high accuracy automatic water Measuring and Dosing System is used to measure the quantity of water in the Calorimeter Vessel, ensuring the water dosing is accurate and reliable.
  • A high-efficiency stirrer ensures that the water in the inner calorimeter vessel is maintained uniformly throughout the experiment.
  • The instruments features a Heavy Duty Compressor Based water refrigeration system. The system automatically determines the cooling requirement and adjusts the circulation system accordingly. The required water temperature is thereby maintained for repeated experiments.
  • Specially designed Auto-stop and Auto-drain valves ensure leakage proof Jacketed System.
  • Window based easy to use software which can further be linked to Digital Weighing Scale for auto weight transfer.
